Multi input switching audio

Post by wthouthope » Mon Jun 09, 2008 7:04 pm

I'm not sure if anyone can answer this but I am looking for a dual input audio switch that will automatically switch from one audio source to another. Reason being is that I have need to monitor an audible tone but at the same time if I receive voice communications from another input I want it to automatically switch to that input. I am looking for something that is no larger than 2"x3"x1" or the name of any company who might have a product already like this. I appreciate any help.

Hi there,

Are you looking to buy something already built, or do you want to
build something yourself?

pre-built

I am looking to get something that is pre-built. I forgot to mention this and I'm sure it's important, the communication side needs to have ptt functionality. Sort of a universal ptt switch with some modification for my specs. One input would most likely be a PRC-148.

I think motorcycle suppliers carry those: they're used for riders to talk to each other with headsets.
