Electronics Brainbox 188

Post by psycho »

My wife was "garbage sale-ing" Saturday and picked up one of these for my 7 year old boy. Paid a whopping $1.50 for it with all the parts still there. What a buy! He has played with it non-stop except to eat/sleep, etc. He is my new electronics buddy.

If you have a kid (or grandkid) and you run across one of these cheap, get it. I would be willing to bet they love it!

For those who don't know what it is:

It's kinda like a breadboard in the size of Legos.

I saw these at Radio Shack also. They sell three different sets from about $38 up to about $99 or so. Pretty cute electronics kits that you can use to build a whole variety of circuits. They all "snap" together with metal snaps. Wish this had been around when I was a little kid. Great idea for the youngster who likes to tinker.
