Old issues and Nuts and Volts and Popular Elecronics
I am a hobbiest in electonics and thoroughly enjoy reading the back issues of Nuts and Volts and Popular Electronics. I am looking for a modest stack (no more than 40) of back issues from '01 through '05. If you are looking for a home for these issues, please contact me.

Don't expect to find any Poptronics after January 2003, as that was their last issue when Gernsback closed its doors.

Past issues of Nuts and Volts
I have past issues dating back to 1995 which I was preparing to have recycled. If you are still looking, let me know.Dean Huster wrote:Don't expect to find any Poptronics after January 2003, as that was their last issue when Gernsback closed its doors.

Anyone know of a complete set of Carl and Jerry articles? I had a whole bunch of old Popular Electronics with these in them. I wonder if scanning these into PDF or BMP would violate copyright laws. I know it would, but would the original publisher and/or author mind?
No trees were harmed in the creation of this message. But billions of electrons, photons, and electromagnetic waves were terribly inconvenienced!

Could you email me with what you have, if you still have them.X-ray wrote:I have past issues dating back to 1995 which I was preparing to have recycled. It shouldn't.jollyrgr wrote: I wonder if scanning these into PDF or BMP would violate copyright laws. I know it would, but would the original publisher and/or author mind?
I've scanned in my back issues of Nuts & Volts, and put them on CD's.
As long as these are only for you, and your not making copies to give, or sell.
You should be fine.

But that's as far back as I have.

My N&V's start at July 92 and I did a quick scan through the 93 & 94 issues.Externet wrote:Unsure of the title.
Perhaps "Understanding flyback circuits" or alike. But I can be still wrong with the year, perhaps to '94 ¿?
I will be praying on my knees while you browse your issues...
Thanks,
Miguel
I found no article about flybacks in any of the issues.
Sorry.
