RF Transmitters and Receivers

Post by kholbrook »

Help!!! I am a student at Mayo Technical College in Pikeville,KY. We are building a robot for a Special Problems course. We need to be able to have a reasonably small transmitter and receiver that will be able to talk to children, transmitted by an operator across the room. The problem is, we are needing schematics that operate on the same frequency.(Preferrably with an RF PIC Microcontroller.) If you have something like this please e-mail it to me at [email protected]. Thanks!!!

I don't know what your budget is(probably zilch) but there are 900mHz transmitter/receiver modules that are self contained. They run about $25.00 per end.You add single side supply and antenna plus any audio circuitry needed.
I believe that one of the companies providing these is called Linx Systems.Try looking at EDN on line,Electronic Design or, Electronic Component News. You can get the links at epanorama.net.
