Battery pack for Ivation cordless tool

Post by fine-tune »

Hello to all at Nuts & Volts.

I have an Ivation cordless tool with two 20 volt lithium battery packs and one is dead.

Battery Pack Model Number: JDB513818

Performed a general Google search and checked Amazon and eBay with no luck.

These Black & Decker packs appear when I search for the Ivation packs. Perhaps
they will fit Ivation cordless tools. I don't know.

https://www.amazon.com/Battery-LBXR2020 ... B07V3SFW48

I could have the pack rebuilt, but that would probably cost more than a new pack.

Do the B&D packs look like they will fit? Maybe a local store has a display model they'll let try.
(If it works buy at least one there as a "thankyou")
((something shopping the 'net can't do))

Cheers,

I agree with dyarker,

Try that, or go to a Battery Plus+ Store, and see what they have.
That will work as a replacement.

I've got a Altocraft Drill/Screw Gun that is going to need a new 18V NiCad battery.
I bought it for about $20.00.
I can get the replacement battery for it, but it will cost over $40.00.

I saw at Menards just last week, that they had another off brand 20V Lion battery Drill/Screw Gun for $20.00 :???:
And weirdly enough, the 20V Lion battery pack that fits it, costs about $40.00.

Thanks dyarker and Janitor Tzap.

Images of the Black & Decker packs look similar to the Ivation packs, but I'm not
sure. The cordless tool is a string trimmer. I'd have to bring the trimmer into a
local store if they would let me try a Black & Decker pack.

There may or may not be a Battery Plus+ store near my home. I've never seen one
driving around. I'll search the web for a Battery Plus+ store near me.
