Has anyone used this curcuit?
im interested in using it to run motorson an ROV(the thrusters) im building.
Can this curcuit be used "stand alone" or does it need to be used in conjunction eith a microcontroller?<p>im just curious as to what others think of this curcuit.

I can't find this IC on the National website, is it current? What is it?

hey Russ
the number is actually LMD1825
its a motor driver curcuit(H-bridge)
rated at 55V, 3A

A few people around my lab used this last semester to drive a small motor. Eventually they traded it out for a home-made circuit.
