I need a SSR that is normal open yet has an input tigger of 800-900mV and can handle 12 to 14VDC
My scenario is that i have a pre built circuit which has an led onboard the wen activated sends out 900mV i would like this to trigger a relay that will then allow 12-13.8VDC to another circuit i have that has a 12VDC led with 2A no more than 5A that is visible in another location
Suggestions,help

Re: Solid state relay help
Sorry, you did say that in post 1, but symbol for Ampere is "A" not "a". ( I did not recognize that you where talking about load current.)
Have you tried www.digikey.com ? Or, www.jameco.com when they recover from network problem.
Be sure to look for a DC relay. An AC relay could use triacs internally and not release/switch off when trigger signal ends with a DC supply..
