Hi,
Every time I work on a new project, I spend a lot of time shopping around for the cheapest PCB manufacturer. Turns out, it varies based on the board's specs. To simplify things, I've make a web site where you enter the size, layers, solder mask color, and quantity of your boards, and it tells you prices from up to 9 different manufacturers. I've called the site PCBShopper.com.
Since I'm all about saving money in my hobby, I've also created a page on the site that compares free PCB CAD programs. Since some of them are crippled versions of commercial programs, I've included information about what the limitations are.
For both manufacturers and software, there's a place where users can write ratings and reviews, Amazon-style.
I hope to add more manufacturers to the site as time goes on. Meanwhile, I hope my fellow hobbyists will find the site useful.
I am not affiliated with any manufacturers of software vendors.
