Anybody familiar with this controller for "Shoprider" and "Jazzy" wheelchairs?
http://www.pgdt.com/products/vr2/index.html
I have the controller and two motors, but want to control the motors wirelessly.
Need to know what sort of signals to input the 4-pin connector to simulate the joystick.
Thanks!

VR2- Electric Wheelchair Controller
Re: VR2- Electric Wheelchair Controller
If you could find out the protocol used, you can use bluetooth, wifi, xbee, or simple rf pair and an arduino to control it wirelessly, just need to figure out the type of communication protocol it uses first.
Re: VR2- Electric Wheelchair Controller
Yes cae2100- therein lies the problem-mfg. not too open with the protocol used.
However, I'm going to ignore that controller. I can perform forward, reverse, left and right turns with a bank of 4 relays. On/off is all I really need anyway.
Thanks!
