The code in the articles returns all NULL strings; i.e. "" instead of my USB port. SerialPort.GetPortNames (which Joe didn't use) does give my ports, which also show up in device manager. I'm using a recent download of C# Visual Studio Express and Windows Vista 64. Has GetPortNames been fixed? I'd really like to use these routines to communicate with my Arduinos but the thought of diving into Joe's DevInfo code makes me shudder.

Any suggestions?
