I use one of those cigarette lighter DC to AC power converters that Walmart, Sears, etc sells. Plug the converter into the cig lighter and the laptop power cord into the converter.

Radio Shack sells a power converter for lap top. Or you might be able to go to manufactors site. Unit is manufactored by Targus m/n PA350(ver.2.0)F0301. I use it to power my IBM 840D laptop. Don't remember the cost. I think Radio Shacks web site lists it.

You're in luck.<p>This week compusa has targus brand ones on sale for 20 bucks. You save 70 bucks. They have both the automotive one and the airplane one for 20 bucks.
