mx614 modem chip

does anyone know where i can buy the mx614 modem chip. its used in homebrew amateur radio packet modems but seems pretty rare. can anyone suggest an alternative?<p>thanks,

I see BGMICRO have some modem chips - though don't know if they're the similar as the one mentioned.<p>It might be worthwhile joining Ken Boakes's Yahoo Group Ratring - this is mainly for PICS and POTS systems - but lots of info on modems etc and as this is a specialist modem/pic/interface group, someone there might be able to help you.<p>Colin<p>Ratring Group<p>[ December 29, 2002: Message edited by: bodgy ]<p>[ December 29, 2002: Message edited by: bodgy ]</p>
