Newbie with electrics

I have been flying for many decades and took a couple of years off from flying, I used to fly nitro and gas engines. A year or so ago, I started flying small electric planes and the are a joy. So, being that i never flown electric before, I am new to batteries. Now I bought a Gloster Meteor F8 https://www.dynamrc.com/products/gloste ... -6s-dy8974 that requires a 6S 4500mAh 30C battery. Can I use a 6S 35C battery without damaging the electronics?

You've left out the key piece of information, the voltage.

From the link in your post says "6S 22.2V 4500mAh Li-Po 30C battery".

Research says 6S means 22.2V. C30 can stand a 30 Amp maximum continuous load.

So a 6S 35C will be "working less hard" (more under max) than the old battery.

If the new battery is 4500mAH the flight time will be the same. More mAH equals more time, less will be less.

Just check that you get a 22.2V battery and there will be no electrical damage to the plane.

Last consideration is physical size and weight of new battery. Will it fit in the plane? Not too heavy for plane to fly?
