I'm recently interested in robots and robotic arms, and I'm looking for a robotic arm that can communicate with my touch screen through UART. I have designed the GUI interface. By the way, should I choose a 3-axis robotic arm or a 6-axis robotic arm?

I finally purchased a 6-axis robotic arm and I've started the first steps to make it do simple grabbing things.
I control the robot arm to grasp objects by tapping the directional buttons on the touch screen as well as grasp button.
