Cool! But no audio to the TV, right? Audio stays on your device, i.e., phone, iPad, etc.?

Not sure......
Some services that are pay, {Nexflix, Amazon, Etc...} will not let you stream over to a TV/Monitor.
{This may have changed, so check.}
Since this adapter plugs in to HDMI on the TV/Monitor.
{Unfortunately they don't say anything about Audio.}
Your probably going to get the audio as well as the video, but I would check with the seller.

Re: I-Phone to flat screen with HDMI
does your TV have a screen mirroring Function, those work best if you are compatible. for example Samsung phone to TV is simple.
Have tried a streaming media player like Roku, Google Chromecast or apple TV, amazon fire stick, LG? Depending on which, apps on your phone can directly attach via wifi but licensing does get in the way, only a generic cable will probably avoid all streaming roadblocks "This content is not licensed to play on this device" type of error.
check your app store for screen mirroring apps, I can't, I have an android
O, you said Facetime, the camera and mic will still be on your phone even if you can redirect the video.
