What kind of range is reasonable for these transceivers, using simple dipole antennas? What frequency are they on?

By no means am I a Xbee expert.
This evaluation kit was obtained to prototype a design that never matured. I did set up a link to prove the concept but no other testing
was really done. I would estimate the total power on time of two of the modules was only a few hours and the rest were never powered.
I suggest you go to the Digi site to see if your answers are there.
And yes, I still have the evaluation kit☺
