DIY Animatronics??

Post by Lenp »

How is it that the "DIY Animatronics" got started and still the bugs that plague the rest of the board are left unfixed?

There are no email notifications of posts, and the 'SUBMIT' for posts is buggy and goes off to hyperspace.

Just wondering!

Hi Lemp

In answer to your question, the administration portion of the site still works fine so adding a new forum for Steve (DIY Animatronics) was a matter of a few mouse clicks. Unfortunately, tracking down the issue with the white-screen-after-post and the email notification on thread posting isn't so simple. :(

Thanks Vern,
I noticed that when posting a new message, the site gets lost, but the message is still posted.
BUT.. when you edit a post, it behaves as it did previously?
(Well, at least it seems to do this most of the time!)

Thanks for the info! :) For the record, I have reported these symptoms to our web team and they are using this data in the search for root cause.

Thanks for the response. As for the e-mail notifications, well it just doesn't work!

Also....
Here is the place it goes to after 'submit':
"http://forum.nutsvolts.com/posting.php? ... 5d&t=17360"
If you refresh that page, it returns a screen with the message that you have already posted...

Maybe this will help
