BASIC programming options?
BASIC programming options?
I really miss GWBasic and the other variants that ran on Commodore, PET, Apple and other early computers. I like the old "command line" entry. I would really appreciate it if someone could recommend a similar BASIC interpreter that I can run on my Windows 7 PC. Hopefully something with the full command set (strings, arrays, ASC, etc.) Thank you!

Look into Liberty Basic.
I used it some years ago but it still seems to be alive and well!

You asked for an interpreter, I think you'll be happier with a compiler. That's okay because LibertyBASIC is a compiler.
If you want write command prompt (formerly DOS Box) programs check out PowerBASIC's PBCC. They also have a GUI compiler, PBWin, which can also compile DLLs. Both can do OOP and COM if you want.
