how the heck do these outfits get away with advertising FREE info, name, address, and such on these phone lookup pages? then you go there and they say YES we found everything, and for $9.95 or more, you can have a detailed report? what a bunch of crap.. 100's of them, and they all lie, Intellius is the biggest liar out there!!! isn't there some sort of regulation for false advertising?

Basically there is nothing illegal about lying. "Truth in advertising" laws often don't apply to online content, and even for traditional advertising venues, lying is common.
