Can anyone define a 14 pin DIP NS 20968L1?

I have two integrated 16 pin chips I am trying to identify as to function (data sheet hopefully) but can not find any reference to them by Googling or other searches. They must be a special order or very obsolete. Any info will be appreciated. They are stamped NS 20968L1 and seem to be a standard 14 pin DIP.

The bad news is that is probably a "house" part number. Could analog or digital.

"20968" comes up on DigiKey as "PCA9546APWR 296-20968-1-ND 4-Channel I2C and SMBus Switch". Actually, there are a couple, all appear to be of the same function (4 channel I2C bus switches.)

No idea if that is actually what you have.

So is that a 14 or a 16 pin DIP. In any case, I agree, its probablty a remarked part number or from a vendor (like LG or samsung for example) who dosen't sell parts to anybody but themselves and do not publish datasheets.

The digikey part is SOIC not DIP anyway

If you have a curve tracer, I can teach you how to discriminate inputs from outputs and power pins but thats still a far step from determioning function
