Sun/Moon Jar

Post by MARINE1142 »

Hello

I have been searching for this project for about a week I tried advanced search, word search, google search and have not found it. I know I saw the project in a nuts and volts mag but cannot remember which one. I have looked at all the ones I can find with no luck. Can any one tell me the right mag to find this project. It was a solar power mason jar that captured sunshine then at night would turn on kind of like a night light. Any help would be great thank you.

I think I remember that being a Weekend Project from Make Magazine.

This? -> Sun Jar - 2008 or Solar Jar - 2006

I can't remember if it was in the table on context but I know it was the complete project with parts list prints and picture I thought it was the same issue with the monster night light but could not find it. Weird that it does not come up in a key word search.

I dont believe we have done a project like the moon jars. We have done a Peanut Butter Jar Monster Detector.

I've seen the jars at ThinkGeek...
