Thousands of parts being disposed of...
Re: Thousands of parts being disposed of...
I may be interested in the 40VCT at the highest amperage you have.<p>How much do you think it would take to ship a couple over basic ground to Saint Charles, IL?
Re: Thousands of parts being disposed of...
Hi Mike.
A couple could be 5 pounds. Do your part too asking at the postal office for the type of service you want; as express, first class, ground, whatever.

Re: Thousands of parts being disposed of...
Could you tell me your zip code so I can get a quote so I have an idea as to what I would owe you?<p>Sorry to ask if you have anything else, but I was just thinking about things I could use. Besides the transformers, do you have anything with large heatsinks either by themselves or attached to equipment?<p>Thank you very much for your time!<p>[ August 29, 2005: Message edited by: Mike ]</p>
Re: Thousands of parts being disposed of...
Much appreciated, Miguel. Looks like a hobbyist's quantity at a mfgr's quantity price. I think what I will do is send a padded envelope with a SASE Priority Mail envelope inside. The parts can be put in the padded envelope and stuck into the Priority Mail envelope. That should minimize your time involved. If you have any digital volume control chips that could be thrown in w/o exceeding the postage that'd be a nice surprise. Thanks again.

Hi.
Mike: the zip code is next to my address. Heat sinks are integral part of power supply assemblies, about 6" x 4" x4" ~ 2 pounds each.<p>Sofaspud: Yes, those are available, 2 channel,in surface mount. Count on them.<p>Miguel

Are there any stepper motor controllers? (specifically bi-polar)

How about LM 308H opamps?
Also some 3909s if enough are available.

My,My externet. Looks like you're going to be a busy boy.
But a most friendly gesture though. Do these "emptying of the parts bin" happen very often where you are at?

Holy cow! That is a s*** load of loot! Are you sure none of came out of your personal stash? If it's all from the scrap bin, then I would like to submit beggar's pouch mark2.
Re: Thousands of parts being disposed of...
Thanks for the offer.<p>Are there any multi-port communications boards? <p>Especially those made by Comtrol?<p>Mark
Re: Thousands of parts being disposed of...
Hi.<p>peter-f: no controllers for stepper motors; I may have a few at home from canibalized fax machines under some spider webs, but still soldered on boards.<p>wingnut66: LM308N yes; LM308H no. 3909 none, but there is a related earlier post with a source.<p>ROBERT REED : Does not happen often.<p>James McD : Yes, a few displays, a few controllers, and many DSP but mostly soldered on boards. Few switching regulators but not that number.<p>L. Daniel Rosa : Well, if you had sent a trunksize pouch... Hope the goodies give you some playing time.<p>mark p : not that kind of toys, sorry.<p>There is some helpful flat rate boxes and envelopes at the post office.
This cannot continue forever, no matter how good intentions I have. I will have to close the offering at some point.<p>Miguel
