Forrest Mims Circuit Booklet

Post by Hello »

Several years ago, Forrest Mims authored some booklets for Radio Shack with circuits in them. One booklet featured ciruits using the 555 timer. Would anyone happen to have this booklet? Thanks!

Ooops…toejam (eeeeew)…..had this for you from my archives but left on my laptop. I started out with the “567” but mostly use the “4046” . ‘cept for a few times at hi freqs where an ECL logic equivalent unit was needed. Also consult the manuf data sheets and app notes for the first 2 units, but I think you can find a cornucopia of info at “PLL City”…….

I had hoped that some one would have posted this info already. The booklets that Forrest J. Mims did for Radio Shack have been reprinted into 4 volumes. I saw these at the local store for Amateur Electronic Supply. The web site is www.aesham.com . Also his 'Getting Started [n Electronics" has also been reprinted. I should buy a new copy as mine is an original on newsprint. George
