Does anyone have a easy circut for a crystal radio. There are a number of possibilities.

It's so simple, I doubt that you'll even
need a schmematic. Try old children's books on
electronics.

Take 1 Germanium Diode OA90 (hmm typed that number without research) 1 coil (or ferrite rod) attach a variable capacitor across the coil and one pair of very high impedance headphones.<p>You haven't stated the frequency/band you want to receive. You will probably need a long wire aeriel, though I did once find a screwdriver was sufficient.<p>The coil one end goes to a good ground the other goes to the moving plates of the cap - the fixed plates go to ground also. The diode connect at the junction of the moving plates connection Anode (non red band side) the cathode connects to the headphones of which one side goes to ground.<p>The better the earth the better the result.<p>Call your set The Cats Whisker.<p>Galena bodgy
