Hi Set,

I didnt like it at first (after all it was very new) but after a few post i like it better than the old one.
For one, the font is a little bigger. There seems to be more room to type too, which is welcome.
The file upload is a little different but might actually be better.

I like how the text is more confined so that I don't have to scroll left/right.

YES! I was just griping internally about that very issue yesterday. I was writing a rather lengthy PM in an attempt to provide assistance to a fellow member and the cramped writing area kept making it rather difficult.

Hi again,

Oh yeah, i know what you mean, and this is now much better.
I also noticed that managing the PM's and stuff like that has improved too. Now we get notified right away if a new PM is there.
Before you would have to remember to look up near the top of the screen to see if any new PMs came in yet.
I ended up missing a few from some people because of that old way of doing it.
It's much better now.

Ah another welcome feature, previous PMs show under the current one so you can follow the conversation and answer multiple questions in a more effective manner. Also I notice a "Save Draft" option for board posts, I'll probably never use it but it's nice to know I don't have to find a way to save my work should I need to walk away from an unfinished post.

Can we get the ability to change our board styles? This new theme is hideous to me. I assume this is phpbb3 now, I would love the ability to use subsilver2 (default phpbb3 style).

This is UGLEE! Who put the "UGH" in UGLY? It looks like a throwback to two color CGA graphics, and the avatars with author info are on the wrong side. In English you start reading from the left. That's where the info belongs. Then there's the font.....

That's just my opinion anyway.

I gotta agree with Bob- the author belongs on the left side.

Just found out you can export private messages now. If your box gets full and you want to save your old conversations it's only a few clicks away, yay!

I prefer the "old" layout also. I'm on a lot of forums, and they all have the poster's info to the left. Also, too much wasted blank space on the new style.

Actually, it's not the blank space, it's the too much info with the topic that's bugging me. It's all vertical, instead of efficiently using the now blank horizontal space.

Thank you to the moderators & those who keep thing running.

One thing I miss is having the links launch in a new window when you click on them. So much more convenient than shift click or right click "n". I'll give them some time to iron out the rest of the bugs before giving my opinion on the new look / functionality.

I had wondered what was going on when things started changing last week.

BTW, the ALT characters don't show up correctly in this version. Check the last set of posts under the Mic Preamp thread.

Hi SET,

Really? How do you do this? Can you export to a text file on computer?
