hey,
I ordered some (free samples! of) IGBTs from ST the other day, just out of interest, but aside from the basic concept of them, I don't really know anything about them - my textbook this year had a one page section on them. Does anyone know where I can find a good beginner's reference on them? I tried Wikipedia, but they only have a stub article.
Thanks,
IGBTs for Beginners

There were several great sites on the web about Lighting, Heating, and IGBTs that cover all most everything about them.
