Composite Video Output
Hello,
Is there a cheap device available (not a PC!) that will convert the Composite Video Output to VGA. I would like to hook up my VHS camera to a spare PC CRT monitor I have.
Thank you for your suggestions.

You're looking for a scan converter (at least that how they're referred to when going VGA to composite) GOVideo sells or used to seel such a unit. Take a lok at this link for further offerings:
http://www.geek.com/newsletter/nl03122003.htm

Re: Composite Video Output
Thank you for your reply,
that is a neat gadget,
But... I need to go from my VHS camera straight to a computer monitor without a computer. I need some kind of converter that converts a vhs camera signal to somthing I can plug directly into my spare color monitor.
Do you have any suggestions?

Re: Composite Video Output
Could be pretty useful but at $70 it is just on the line of being worth it since you can get a small TV with AV inputs for about the same price. If the price does come down a bit (it is likely to) then I may buy one too.
