A/D Circut design question

Hello,
I want to replace the standard analog gages in my car (speed/tac) With LCD screens. I was wondering if any one would be able to help me with the design of the circut, what parts i would need. I have looked hi and low for a kit or a circut design but with no luck, Pleast Help.

My extent is realyy just getting a schematic and ordering parts and and puting it all together. then going throught with a digital multimeter and figuring out why. um let me think on this a bit and if i have more questions i'll repost. thank you.
