I had a sound card that came with the soft ware to do this.

It Worked very well but the soft ware was only designed for W-95, and wouldnt work on my 98 computer?

Im sure there is plenty of software out there for this task.

Hi JPK,
Oki used to have/has a chip called MSM6322, a pitch control chip for changing realtime speech +/- one octave in 17 steps. Here is the datasheet: http://pdf1.alldatasheet.co.kr/datashee ... M6322.html

This is a stand alone solution.

Close to 10 years ago, N&V had a project for a voice-changer that used the HT8950 chip. I'm not sure if the chip is still in production, but have you checked it out at all?
