Did you ever get the message while programming a 16F84A "failed at 0000h", Well that's all I ever get using the Talkingelectronics kit's .
If you know what I might be doing wrong ,please respond.

I use a different programmer, but when this happens to me it means that the computer and programmer are not communicating clearly. What worked for me was to increase the delay between bits (slow it down). Hope this helps.
