Does anybody Know any good supplier for gearhead motors.<p>

Be a little more specific. AC / DC? Approx size? RPM? Torque? Voltage? New / surplus? Application?<p>Jameco has some small ones that might be usefull for robotics. I've always been partial to cordless tools (screwdrivers and drills mostly) <p>Electronics goldmine and all electonics are perty good surplus houses for small ones. Northern hydraulics or Surplus Center are good places to look for larger stuff.<p>-Denny

I am looking for small, high power, low RPM gearhead motors.<p>Also does anybody know where I can order
"Maxon" brand motors.

I forgot to mention that they need to be DC and anywhere from 0-24V

We can't help you if your not more specific. There are literally thousands of different motors for millions of different applications. <p>General terms like "low RPM", "high power", and "small" mean different things to different people.<p>-Denny

Try Lynxmotion Robitics. They have several low rpm dc motors. Also, the sell the couplers, mounting brackets, and wheels, which makes putting all the pieces together easy.<p>GoodLuck

Does anybody know of some low cost reversable gear motors around 12VDC and anywhere from about 60 to 150 rpm.

Black an decker makes a cordless screwdriver that uses 4 AA batteries (6 volts) - rated at 130 rpm. (about $8 at home despot)<p>They run a little fast on 12 volts, but you shouldn't burn them unless they're stalled for a long time.<p>[ October 22, 2003: Message edited by: desterline ]</p>
