I would like send 8-bit analog sensor data from a PIC18F452 to a MMC so it can be read by a computer via a card reader.
I need a starting place in terms of coding the 18F452 in PicBasicPro as well as any considerations one has in interfacing with Flash memory.
Many thanks in advance.

In case you don't want to learn Dutch (not that there's anything wrong with it...), you could try google. A quick search brought up the following hits on the first page alone:
http://www.microchipc.com/sourcecode/#mmc
http://www.compsys1.com/workbench/On_to ... oject.html
http://www.captain.at/electronics/pic-mmc/
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/seanellis/mmcserial.htm

Re: Interface with MMC
Thanks for the links.
I've found this link:
http://www.compsys1.com/workbench/On_to ... oject.html
to be pretty helpful, but I'm not yet able to get info onto/off of the card. I'm using a PIC 18f454 coded in PIC BASIC PRO, I am also using a uMMC breakout board from www.sparkfun.com. There is very little documentation on this product so I am piecing together other documentation to make it work.
Thanks for the help- I'll let you know how this goes.

Theres that website, circuitsonline.nl in english. It's still not perfect, but for the most part is understandable.

Re: Interface with MMC
I've interface MMC and SD cards to a PIC. The links provided above show how easy the interface is with SPI.
To read the data on a PIC, however, you need to write to the card in FAT format. This means that you'll need to read the FAT spec from Microsoft. I've seen libraries for FAT available for a fee.
