Thermo electric coupler

I am looking for a website for the following.
The principle of opperation of a thermal electric coupler.
The principle of opperation of a induction cooker.

You can get information on inductive cooking from your local appliance store. I never heard of thermal electric coupler, what do you know about it?

Do you mean "thermocouple?" As in:<p>(A) The device which is stuck in a gas appliance pilot light and generates enough current thermally to keep the main gas valve open unless the pilot light goes out?<p>(B) The device used to measure temperatures ("thermocouples") electronically?<p>Both of these devices are based on the fact that when you join two different metals and heat up that junction, a voltage is generated.<p>If that's what you mean, you can use the word "thermocouple" in a search engine and get lots of hits which will explain it. You can also use the search term "Seebeck Effect."

Hi guys
It would seem that the correct term is Thermo-Electric Peltier Module.
It is used in cooling units, ie bottle or can coolers where no compressor is used.
When I do a net search all I get is loads of sites willing to sell units using T.E. and no explaination of the principle of opperation.
I am interested purely from a infomation point of view.
The other point of interest was induction cooker and I think yes this is magnetic induction.
Point of interest, is this a energy saving device? How does it opperate?
Any websites or search engines to answer these questions?
