Radio Reprogramming

Post by rhpfeil »

I have two Kenwood TK-3100 UHF radios that I want
to reprogram the frequencies and PLL tones. Any
one know where I can get the software and serial
cable or its connection info so I can program
them with my PC?

Greetings
The company I work for is a Kenwood dealer, and has what is needed to program your radios.
If you can't find a local dealer to program for you, contact me via e-mail and we can arrange something.
If you prefer to do it on your own, you may want to check out the "Radio Information Board"
http://radio.the161.net/ You may find info on the interface hardware there. I wouldn't count on getting software from anyone except a dealer; the software cops are everywhere!
BatLabs is another place that may be of help, although they tend to stick to Motorola products.

Best of luck to you.
