Radio Reprogramming

Post by rhpfeil » Tue Aug 05, 2003 11:09 pm

I have two Kenwood TK-3100 UHF radios that I want
to reprogram the frequencies and PLL tones. Any
one know where I can get the software and serial
cable or its connection info so I can program
them with my PC?

The company I work for is a Kenwood dealer, and has what is needed to program your radios.
If you can't find a local dealer to program for you, contact me via e-mail and we can arrange something.
If you prefer to do it on your own, you may want to check out the "Radio Information Board" You may find info on the interface hardware there. I wouldn't count on getting software from anyone except a dealer; the software cops are everywhere!
BatLabs is another place that may be of help, although they tend to stick to Motorola products.
Best of luck to you.
..if it ain't broke...don't fix it.
more fun to be had
