Radio shack tracking user purchases for Feds

Post by geewiz »

with so much time on my hands these past few months,I spend a lot of time working on various projects. So I'm visiting ratshack a coupla times a week. Was recently told by an employee there (NY) that they received a memo some time ago stating they are to make note of buyers of electronic components. Initially thought the guy was joking, but he and another insists that this is true. And here I am always buying wire, switches, resistors, etc a few times a week. Jeez...

MY DAD ALWAYS SAID "SANTA CLAUS" WHEN MAKING A CASH PURCHASE. HE HATED JUNK MAIL. I GUESS I'M LUCKY TO HAVE FUTURE-ACTIVE NEARBY, SO THE RADIO-TO-NSA-SHACK IS NO NECESSITY. WHO WAS IT THAT SAID, "WHEN THE GOV'T FEARS THE PEOPLE, THAT'S LIBERTY, BUT WHEN THE PEOPLE FEAR THE GOV'T, THAT'S TYRANNY." ??? MOST ACTS OF TERRORISM HAVE BEEN LOW-TECH ACTS OF OPPORTUNITY BY A SPECIFIC VARIANT OF ONE 'SOCIETY'. ONCE THEY AMASS A DATABASE ON THE FAITHFUL, WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF WE ARE DRIVEN BY CIRCUMSTANCE TO FULL SOCIALISM? WE LIGHT THE FUSE OF SELF-DESTRUCTION WITH IMPETUOUS COWARDICE.
SORRY, FELLAS, BUT I CAN'T STAND TO SEE THE FEARFUL IN LEADERSHIP. THEY RUIN BUSINESS AND SOCIETY AND FAMILY ALIKE.
(REM: REMOVE SOAPBOX )
Can't we end all posts with a comical quip?
