Re: 2 wire foto cell question
A simple cap usually takes care of the Hysteresis in the feed line. [Flickering]
But as I described, make sure no other light is causing the flickering.
I used to hit lots of light sensors with my laser and spinning pie wheel.
Drove em nuts.
Any light [60hz] bulb can also do this if its close.
Re: 2 wire foto cell question
I like one of the original ideas, use a relay. The coil has a threshold on/off voltage that might serve the purpose.
WS
[ July 24, 2005: Message edited by: yesiam ]

The Universal Relay As described in Nuts & Volts
Magazine, April 2005, P: 50. can do the job,
just ad a resistor between Pin 1 and 3 on the
LM358 for extra hystersis if needed.(try 1M Ohm)
Holes are provided onboard.
Just a thought.
