CM8870 Chip

Post by greg123 »

Hey Guys,
Has anyone ever used the CM8870 DTMF Decoder? I know if can be used to decode the number from the caller ID packet just wondering if anyone has had any luck with it. I would like to monitor incoming calls and outgoing. Also, anyone know where to buy it...no luck on Digikey, jamco or mouser for me....Thanks

Hi.
The caller identification is not DTMF.
You cannot use that chip.
