Peter Anderson's is a goos one (www.phanderson.com)<p>But Jan Axelson's is better. (www.lvr.com)<p>

You can do at least as much (probably more) hardware control under Linux/BSD as you can under DOS/Windows environments. Timing will be more reliable under a UNIX environment as well.<p>I did note that you were talking about the parallel port; this won't be a problem at all.<p>Thanks for all the help, I'll keep you all posted if I've got more questions.<p>Devon
