Just one more thought on the subject why not use Halogen bulbs??? No time delay no need for an inverter very bright (car headlamps etc.) very efficient (upto 11 hours of light with a well charged 12v battery)

Re: dacflyers inverter problem solved (maybe)
i use what i have, because its very low current as opposed to halogen lamps, true they are very bright, but draw a lot of current too,, the design i have will give over 1 week of service with no solar charging ,lights are on as long as a 1/2 hr at times..i am using a 20AH battery,,
with halogens they whould not last so long with reserve,,, but thanx anyway,...
