Hey Guys<p>i am trying to get into the world of PIC's and i purchased the Multi-Chip Programmer from Poptronics Interactive. The site recommended using the soft IC-Prog to program the device. <p>When i go into the hardware settings of the program, i choose El Cheapo programmer and select the port LPT 1 (as this is the only port available to be chosen). When i press the read button (to read code already on the PIC) my printer prints. <p>I can select comm 1 but i get an error at adddress oxooo. <p>Can you guys reccomend a programming software that i can use or how to use this one better? I dont want to buy a new programmer yet, funds are tight.<p>Greg
