Commercial Intercom Components---Long Gone!

Post by Lenp »

Look at this!

I have a rather large quantity of intercom control parts, like the switch systems that are/were common in schools. The list includes many Rauland control centers, switch racks and power amplifiers. There is even a few Bogen and Telecor items in the group. The equipment was removed from service, tested, cleaned and ready for use. Manuals are available for many items.

Also there are several Aiphone video door monitors and cameras

If interested, I'll PM the list. Offers, or maybe even trades will be considered!
Except for the power amplifiers, most items are lightweight and will ship reasonably.

Got to move it along..

Still Have Some!

Post by Lenp »

Come on guys!
There must be sombody out there that can use this 'retired' gear. Put together a system, make some $ repairing one, donate it to a school and take the write off, or whatever you want. I'll take a trade, cash or maybe even a good original hard luck story. I'll even answer questions about connecting it. It's soon headed for Ebay, or maybe the landfill, but, you can still get first choice!
Let's go..

Last Call

Post by Lenp »

This is the last call!
I've posted before hoping to find a home for this gear and it looks dim.
Regrettably this gear is all working and could be placed into service with little efort, I even have the manuals.
Imagine names like Rauland, Telecor, Bogen. Imagine Switch racks loaded with with 3 position switches, scr's and led's, control units with intercom and microphone capabilities. 60W-250W power amplifiers and what not from the past years of commercial and school intercom systems.

Price, make an offer to cover the packing, you pay the shippping. Done deal!
Act quick, I'm going to park my truck at the back door soon!

Re: Commercial Intercom Components AGAIN

Ok, here is more of the intercom parts that just arrived.
I have a Craigs List post so if you are interested here it is http://baltimore.craigslist.org/ele/4451224532.html
Be warned, some of the amplifiers are HEAVY, so shipping is a consideration for both packing and cost!
Thanks,
Len

I may have use for a power amp Len. I have a large pond with an even larger Frog problem(thousands and thousands). I have tried everything to rid them, but to no avail. My last ditch thought is an underwater transducer kicked by a heavy power amp. Problem is I have not quite finished with preliminary testing as of yet. I don't know what a 200? watt amp would weigh. Maybe the shipping alone would kill the deal. Do what you gotta do to unload this stuff if I can't make your deadlines, but otherwise keep me in mind.

These power amplifiers are HEAVY by today's standards. They are a lot of steel chassis, heatsink, transformer and discrete parts, but rarely did we ever see a failure. These were scrapped during system upgrades. The modern power amplifier today can be an under-the-arm carry, while the 250W guy is a hand truck item. They don't make them this way anymore! Think battleship vs canoe.

All the 'stuff' went for the handsome scrap metal price of $8.30!
Hoarders beware, there is no profit in it!

Hoarders beware
The whole load went for the handsome sum of $8.30 all as common scrap steel.
I could have parted out the transformers and heat sinks for a better return, but the time probably wouldn't be worth the effort.
