Wrap them in a blanket, grab the sledge hammer and finish the job that you started!

No sarcasm intended. Just a little added humor to the HP printer event.

humor is the price of this stuff.. I figured someone would want these.. they are new, guess I can throw them out if everybody is independently wealthy and don't need them..

I use the dispensers from the refill kits to suck most of the ink out of my obsolete ink cartridges and then refill my new ones. My kids Cannon printer has run ink from HP, Lexmark, Generic, Epson and others through it (not too picky about colors in photos or archival purposes, just school work mainly) with little problem. I think we refilled the original cartriges about 10 times before they wouldn't work any more and I got new ones to start the process over again. Some of the donor cartriges were 10+ years old and went back to the 300dpi days.

Given how old this post is, I suppose they are in the trash by now

Hey Guys,

Never throw ink or toner cartridges away. Join Staple's Rewards Club (free) and drop them off at the counter.
They recycle them and give you a two bucks in store credit for each one! They don't ask or care about them, just how many.
There is a 10 cartridge limit per month so stash the dumpster dive finds someplace for when the pickings get slim!
I have a friend that cashes in the limit each month from the cast-off cartridges from his employer.
No joke: here it is...http://www.staples.com/sbd/cre/products ... index.html
