Hi,
Does anyone know what issue the S-video to composite converter, i.e. Y/C summation circuit suggestion was in?
Thanks all.

Im not sure if they use a phase difference in the format, but if they don't, Use 914 diodes to seperate up stream and combine down stream the signals.... and Pots on each output leg to find and adjust the individual voltage level/ signals to RE combine all three levels into one.
At one volt P to P , the pot value might be in the one meg range? Experiment? You'll know if you get it right if you can cut out a single value like the red/green/blue.
Disregard if they use a phase timing or a difference between channels?
