On Line Magazine Survey (for Nuts and Volts)

Post by Bigglez »

Greetings,
Not sure if this is the right place to post on this topic.

I subscribe to N and V and get both the print and electronic
issues, the May issue arrived in my email yesterday.

Today I got a survey for the electronic issue service
provider, and I spend about twenty minutes answering
questions on-line. At the end of the session I got this
message:
texterity.com wrote:Survey Access Denied
The survey is not accessible due to one of the following reasons:
You tried to log into a closed survey.
You supplied the wrong password to continue the interview. Please check the password and try again.
The interview, protected by the password, is in progress already. Please check the password and try again.
Timeout to answer expired. The survey will automatically close after 15 minutes of sitting idle. Please go back to the URL and enter your password. If you are still denied access, please wait 10 minutes.
Seems I wasted my time...

Anyone else (that subscribes on-line) get a survey request?

I got it.

I don't remember signing up for electronic issue (maybe I did as back up to paper). I get the e-mails for the electronic, but I don't use it. Most of the day at work I spend at a computer, then some more time at home. Then I take a paper magazine and a soft or hard drink to the sofa, and read in a horizontal position. I DO NOT NEED MORE TIME AT A COMPUTER!

Maybe if somebody says the survey is fixed I'll answer it.

Cheers,

I received a link to the survey, completed it and received no error messages. I used Firefox to do the survey on a Windows XP machine. I took the entire survey w/o stopping to do anything else... did you pause in the middle or something that might have caused it to time out?

I ran through the survey until I got to the part where they wanted an
email address. That sounded fishy since they already knew it to send the
survey to me! At that point I canceled the whole shebang. So much for
reader feedback.
