I use the "convert" program free from:

http://joshmadison.com/software/convert/

1 acre = 4046.825 M² therefore 1 acre = 0.4046825 "quadrameter".

Looks like quadrameter is the german word for square meter.

I dug up this German table:

Flächeneinheiten — Umrechnungsfaktoren:
SYMBOL..........EINHEIT.....................UMRECHNUNGSFAKTOR
cm2................Quadratzentimeter..... 1 cm2 = 0,0001 m2 = 100 mm2 = 0,1550 in.2
in.2.................Quadratzoll................1 in.2 = 6,451 6 cm2 = 645,162 6 mm2
.......................................................1 in.2 = 6,415 6 x 10-4 Quadrameter (m2)
m2..................Quadratmeter............1m2 = 10,000 Quadratzentimeter (cm2)
.......................................................1m2 = 1,550.0031 Quadratzoll (in.2)

Otherwise it has apoetic use as "iambic quadrameter".

So it does not mean 10,000 M^2

IF you call a quadrameter=10,000 m² ; the correct name is Hectare.
10000 m² = 1 hectare = 2.47 acres

And the word "quadratzmeter" should mean squaremetre = m²
