Toroidal Transformers in Canada?

Hi all..

I've been looking for a good source of toroidal transformers in Canada that match my requirements of a 25-0-25 VAC at 150VA (3A) minimum.

So far the only place I've found is Plitron, but they are rather expensive. I'm sure their product is worth it, however I'd rather go for something a little cheaper.

Does anyone know of a good toroidal transformer supplier in Canada?

Thanks!

Not in canada but good prices. The only one in Canada that I could find was Piltron and you are right , they are expensive.

I have another I will look up and post here for you also, as soon as I find it.

This is what cracks me up. this guy states EXACTLY what he's looking for
and gets 4 replies (and counting) for something else.
If you're going to reply to a post why don't you answer the question?
Do you not think this guy is capable of finding U.S. distributers without your help?
I don't get it.

Talk like your answer is cheap, useless and cheap.

Hope your community likes you, we dont.

What I don't get is your negative and sour attitude, which is not welcome anywhere. This person is new to this forum and this is the kind of attitude they get to see with their first post.

The whole idea of this forum is to be able to have a place to share advice , insite, information etc...

I myself had some problem finding toroids reasonably priced and available. Through this forum I saved well over $150.00 for a toroid I was having a hard time finding. This information was very helpful and so I share with others .

This kind of information is useful not only to the person posting but to anyone, anytime in this forum. Many times I search through these posts and have found a lot of new contacts, suppliers and a varity of price comparison.

For people like you who have all of the answers, well I guess you can afford to have that kind of attitude and thats fine , but keep it to yourself, like I said it's not welcome anywhere.

By the way I don't see a whole lot of supplier information in Canada for toroids showing up here, so any information just might be useful.

Hmmmmm. You guys speak of what's "wanted" and "unwanted" as if you
speak for the entire forum. Well you don't. You only speak for yourself.
As for what is KNOWN about what's wanted or unwanted, in this thread, it
was a toroidal manufacturer in Canada.
So maybe it's YOUR responses that are unwanted. or maybe not actually
unwanted, just irrelevant.
I'm sure you're just wanting to be helpful, desperately so, but insulting the
posters' intelligence with info he could easily look up himself, while not
answering the question he asked, is questionable.
And look at how simple this question is, what happens when something complicated is up? All kinds of irrelevant answers.
