Great file sharing service-NOT SPAM

Post by bigkim100 »

Just wanted to let you guys know that I found a service to share monsterous files, for FREE.
I just bought a company, and had to send a logo for printing to many companies.
http://www.yousendit.com
I dont have anything to do with this company, I just found it to work really well.
Kim..The man with the cute little girls name...and Frankensteins face and body.

www.yousendit.com was a lot less complex and much more flexible. Then they started making it a pay site. They used to allow up to 1GB files for free; no registration or anything like that.

Now I prefer to use
http://www.sendspace.com

Much like the old YOU SEND IT site.

Now I need to find a space that is like YOUTUBE.com that allows AUDIO ONLY files.
No trees were harmed in the creation of this message. But billions of electrons, photons, and electromagnetic waves were terribly inconvenienced!

www.livedigital.com - Pictures, video, music. Kind of like a Myspace/Youtube website...

Let me know if you sign up, I will give you extra space to upload files to.

I've been using Google email - gmail - 3GB or so free.
And some freeware that creates a virtual disk drive on my PC for that space. Drag and drop like any drive on the PC. The files are there as individual "email" messages too.

OK for sharing - but not archiving...

Those many small on-line storage start-up companies - what happens when it goes chapter 13?

YouSendit's Terms say "YouSendIt will not be responsible for any failure of the Services to store a User File, for the deletion of a User File stored on the Services, or for the corruption of or loss or any data, information or content contained in a User File."

I've used esnips.com - 5GB free they say. but the fine print of their terms and conditions is: "eSnips is not responsible for any loss of or damage to any content that you upload to the eSnips.com service. Again, you are responsible for keeping backups of all your content."
