It looks a lot like the Eagle, I am working with the free version of eagle, thought this was best until I get the hang of it. I am making progress with it but it is very confusing. I am wondering if the Dip Trace is as confusing.
Working with the components names is the confusing part, but Im getting there.
I see there have not been any replies to your post, mmmmmm wonder ???
If you hear anything about either of these, I am courious , please let me know.

I have been messing around with it for almost two weeks
now.
I like it better than eagle.
The library is not as big as Eagle,
the autorouter is OK.
To me it is a little easer to use than Eagle.
as far as making your own parts.
What I like the most is, if you have a question
you can go on there Yahoo community
and ask it. They respond pretty fast.
Just like everything else there is a learning curve.
When making schematics I think its better just for the fact that you
