"And Dean... fertilizers CAN be weed killers ..."<p>Of course that's true, Peter. I'm a farm boy and know about overdoing the crop vitamins. It's easy to burn a section of beans when turning corners with the spreader. And folks these days overdo it with vitamins, herbal remedies, etc. in the same way. Hey, "if a little is good, a lot is better," as the old saying goes.<p>I would worry about fertilizing my veggie patch with spent ammonium persulfate, especially when the tomatoes and strawberries started turning purple! And if there's a lot of iron in spinach, does that mean that a row of spinach fertilized with spent ammonium persulfate will alloy? :) <p>Dean
